Bernard Brewery visitor Centre is situated in Humpolec in the Czech Republic, just one hour from Prague, in the beautiful region of central Bohemia.

You can take a tour around the brewery to see how the beer is produced, taste the beer, and enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant.

Where it all started
The history of the Bernard brewery, as we know it today, dates back to 1991, when Stanislav Bernard, Josef Vávra and Rudolf Šmejkal joined forces to buy the brewery at an auction.

With enthusiasm, they began to fulfil their dream of a brewery that makes Czech beer of high quality.

They built the Bernard brand, which is known across the country. The company grew and gradually expanded its product range.
They brew 16 kinds of beer, including gluten-free, Black Avalanche and top-fermented ale.

When the dream comes true
On the 30th anniversary of the Bernard Family Brewery, the company planned to open its visitor centre.

"We built the visitor centre so we could share it with you. We look forward to serving you fresh beer from the tank in the beer garden and offering food that goes perfectly with it. You can also go up to the top of the chimney and look around our beautiful region or down to the cellars for a tour of daily brewing operations”, the owners say.

LOKI was recommended by the architect who designed the centre. They were looking for sustainable products of high quality and an elegant design to match the visitor centre’s interior style.

Facts
The Bernard Brewery visitor Centre was inaugurated on June 1st, 2022 and is open to the public for visits.
